Social life and societies at Keele

With over 13,500 students from all over the world, you’re going to meet lots of new people at Keele. And with so many opportunities to get involved in student life, chances are you’re going to make some fantastic new friends too. You’ll meet people with similar outlooks, as well as people who might introduce you to new interests and ideas. People with different views, experiences and hobbies, who can expand your own world view. 

Keele is home to two students' unions. Keele Student's Union is at the heart of campus, and hosts regular events, as well as supporting, advising and representing students on a range of issues. Keele Postgraduate Association is a dedicated postgraduate students' union offering support, advice and a welcoming community, with its own clubhouse that is popular with students, staff and residents alike!

Maybe you’ll meet friends in a tutorial group, or you’ll bump into them in The Squirrel – the SU’s clubhouse. Perhaps you’ll both sign up for one of the 120 clubs and societies on offer, or you’ll share a flat together. Maybe you’ll both get the same bus onto campus, or work together as Student Ambassadors. The possibilities are almost endless, and the friendships and memories made at university are ones that you’ll carry with you through life.
