Philosophy, Politics and Economics BA (Hons)
We are planning to launch a Philosophy, Politics and Economics BA (Hons) and hope to welcome our first intake in September 2026.
This course is ‘subject to validation’ which means that it is in the last stages of the validation process, awaiting final approval. Validation is a rigorous process undertaken with academic staff, students, independent subject experts and employers to ensure the course is of high quality, and able to prepare students well for their future employment or further study. Validation is not guaranteed.
About the programme
Are you keen to tackle societal challenges, solve complex problems and offer new perspectives upon the most important issues of today? Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Keele aims to develop your skills and knowledge of two core influential factors: governance and ethical issues. Build a global perspective on contemporary challenges such as the threat of climate change, democracy, new technologies such as AI and the future of work. Our programme will help to enhance your critical thinking skills, encouraging you to evaluate choices and concepts through philosophical, political and economic analysis.
