Dr Chris Adams invited to present to fellow alumni at Academy of Medical Sciences Daniel Turnberg Alumni Conference 19-21 November 2019

Professor Divya Chari has led a successful funding bid with consultant rheumatologist Dr Sam Hider for an INSPIRE award from the Academy of Medical Sciences and Wellcome Trust, to fund medical student research till 2022.

Congratulations to several student members of the Neural Tissue Engineering group who have won prizes at conferences and symposiums over Summer 2019.

NTEK has published a new paper by Tickle JA and Chari DM in June 2019. entitled ‘Less is more: Investigating the influence of cellular nanoparticle load on transfection outcomes in neural cells’.

A team of scientists from Keele University organised 9 events across Stoke-on-Trent from 20-22 May 2019 for the international Pint of Science festival.

Dr Chris Adams was invited to the Daniel Turnberg Travel Fellowship Reception to give a talk on his experiences of the scheme alongside two other fellows.
